Help Us Help Them

Feminist Women's Health Center: Leading. Educating. Advocating.

Each year, APHA selects a local organization to donate to leading up to the meeting. The APHA 2023 host city charity is the Feminist Women’s Health Center.

Feminist Women’s Health Center is a reproductive health, rights and justice organization. They provide direct services, education, advocacy, leadership development and movement building with people across all axes of oppression so that everyone has the rights, resources and respect to make empowered, informed decisions about our own bodies and health.

FWHC provides safe, affordable and compassionate abortion and reproductive healthcare to all who need it without judgment. They are a Black-led, locally-based nonprofit organization in Georgia that directly provides reproductive health services, while also protecting and promoting reproductive rights and justice through organizing and advocacy.

In a world where abortion is under intense threat, helping someone get the abortion care they need is a radical act of love. For FWHC, their clinic is a manifestation of that love. Even with the recent SCOTUS decision on Roe, FWHC is still committed to providing early abortion care to the legal limit along with providing other essential reproductive health care services.

FWHC continues to empower patients, volunteers and supporters so they can walk away from the clinic ready to live life on their own terms. By giving to FWHC, you'll help support Georgia's only Black-led, explicitly feminist independent abortion provider.

Attendees are encouraged to join in the effort to make an impact by donating through the registration process.
